Power Department Team Assaulted During Electricity Theft Investigation in Nagla Jharkai

In Nagla Jharkai village of Nadbai, a team from the electricity department was allegedly assaulted on Friday while investigating electricity theft complaints. According to Junior Engineer Nitin Dagur, the team found two consumers stealing electricity and initiated departmental action.

As the team proceeded, locals including Veeri Singh, Ashish Patel, and others reportedly surrounded the officials, snatched their mobile phones, and forcibly recorded videos to misrepresent the situation.

The complaint, filed at Nadbai police station, includes charges of obstructing government work, manhandling, and making false accusations. Police have registered an FIR and begun the investigation.
