29th National e-Governance Conference to Kick Off in Jaipur Tomorrow; CM Bhajanlal Sharma to Inaugurate

Jaipur, June 30, 2026: In a major push towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’, Jaipur is all set to host a massive national brainstorming session on digital governance. The 29th National e-Governance Conference (NCeG) will be held at the Rajasthan International Center (RIC), Jaipur, on July 1 and 2, 2026.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas stated that digital governance has become a powerful medium of transformation in the country, significantly enhancing the reach, quality, transparency, and accountability of government services through technology. This year’s central theme is ‘Viksit Bharat 2047: AI Enabled, Data Driven & Secure Digital Governance’. The conference is being jointly organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Government of Rajasthan.

Chief Minister to Inaugurate; Public Digital Services to be Launched

  • Inauguration Ceremony (July 1): Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma will officially inaugurate the two-day conference on Wednesday. Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, Minister for Information Technology and Communications, will also grace the occasion. The inauguration will feature the unveiling of an NCeG exhibition and the launch of several new citizen-centric digital services for the state.
  • Valedictory & Awards Ceremony (July 2): On Thursday, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, will attend as the chief guest to present the National e-Governance Awards 2026. A total of 16 National e-Governance Awards (Gold and Silver) and one Special Jury Award will be conferred to recognize outstanding digital innovations across the nation.

A Grand Confluence of 2,700 Delegates and 1,100 Startups

This high-profile national summit will bring together key policy-makers, technology experts, and visionaries to chart out the future of administrative governance:

  • Over 2,700 delegates and more than 200 national and international speakers.
  • Senior Secretaries of the Government of India and top administrative officers from various states.
  • More than 400 academicians and researchers.
  • Over 1,100 startups and budding entrepreneurs.

42 Exhibition Stalls to Showcase Digital India Innovations

More than 42 exhibition stalls have been set up at the venue to display cutting-edge digital transformations. The Government of Rajasthan will proudly showcase the achievements of its flagship e-governance platforms on this national stage, including:

  • e-Mitra
  • Rajasthan Sampark-181
  • RajKaj
  • Raj Kisan Sathi
  • State Data Center

An ‘IT Platform and Building Blocks Handbook’ will also be officially released during the conference.

National Stage for Startups: AI Builders Pitch-a-Thon

In a bid to foster grassroots innovation, the ‘Rajasthan AI Builders Pitch-a-Thon’ is being organized in collaboration with ISB Hyderabad, drawing participation from nearly 1,700 startups. The top three startups will be awarded cash prizes of ₹1,00,000, ₹50,000, and ₹25,000 respectively. Furthermore, the selected startups will benefit from an exclusive mentorship and training program by ISB Hyderabad. NASSCOM is onboard as the knowledge partner for the event.
