On Friday evening, a major accident was narrowly avoided on the Bharatpur-Bayana State Highway near Agawali village. A speeding truck rear-ended a 108 emergency ambulance, severely damaging its rear section.

The incident occurred when the ambulance driver was returning to Bayana hospital after dropping off a pregnant woman at RBM Hospital in Bharatpur. The truck driver, attempting to overtake, collided with the ambulance. The impact caused the truck to veer off and stop at the roadside with damage.

Bajariya Town Outpost In-Charge Nirbhay Singh Gurjar and his police team reached the scene promptly. The police seized both vehicles, and traffic on the highway was disrupted for a short time.

Fortunately, no patient was inside the ambulance at the time of the accident, preventing any injuries. According to the police, no formal complaint has been filed yet. Legal action will be taken once a complaint is received.
