Married Woman Raped in Jaipur Hotel, Accused Known to Victim

A married woman has filed a rape complaint in Jaipur’s Jalupura area, alleging that a known acquaintance lured her to a hotel under false pretenses and sexually assaulted her.

The 28-year-old woman, a resident of Shastri Nagar, stated in her report that she had known the accused for some time and was in regular communication with him. On June 15, the accused invited her to meet.

Instead of a public place, he allegedly took her to a hotel room in Jalupura, where he forcibly raped her. When she resisted, he threatened to harm her and warned her not to tell anyone.

Following the incident, the woman reported the matter to Jalupura police. An FIR has been registered, and Sub-Inspector Maya Meena has taken up the investigation. The police are now identifying and tracing the accused.
