Bharatpur, Rajasthan:
Anger is simmering among revenue department employees after a deadly attack on Girdawar Subran Singh and Halka Patwari Deepa Meena during an official land measurement on May 30 in Nayagaon Khurd village of Bayana tehsil.
On Thursday, revenue staff across the district held a symbolic protest in Nadbai, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the administration’s response. The staff warned that if all accused are not arrested soon, they will go on an indefinite strike from June 9, which will severely impact all revenue-related services in the district.
🚨 Only One Accused Arrested So Far
Aakash Solanki, District President of Rajasthan Patwar Sangh, stated that an FIR was filed against seven individuals in connection with the assault. However, only one of them has been arrested so far, while the rest roam free, raising concerns about the safety of field officers.

If the strike proceeds from June 9, services like land mutation, girdawari, map and records copy issuance, and e-Mitra services will be disrupted throughout the district.

Key participants included Vishnu Bhatra, Dharmendra Meena, Atar Singh, Prem Singh, Kartar Singh, Jeetu, and others. They collectively demanded immediate arrests to prevent such incidents in the future.
