Bharatpur: Woman Commits Suicide by Hanging in Bayana

On Thursday afternoon, a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself in Anand Vihar Colony, Bayana. The deceased has been identified as Neeraj Jangid (35), a resident of Bai Dhursi village in Karauli. Neeraj was living in Bayana with her two daughters, aged 12 and 6, renting a house belonging to Yadram Saini. Her husband, Sunil Jangid, works in marble fitting in Mumbai.

Upon receiving the information, the Kotwali police reached the spot. According to ASI Pramesh Kumar, the woman’s body was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside the room. The police have taken the body into custody and kept it at the mortuary of Bayana Sub-District Hospital.

The police have seized the deceased’s mobile phone and started a technical investigation. The reasons behind the suicide are yet to be determined. Family members from both her maternal and marital sides have arrived in Bayana.

The post-mortem examination will be conducted after the husband arrives on Friday. The police are conducting a detailed investigation and further legal action will be taken based on the facts uncovered during the inquiry.
