Police Arrest Two Youths with Illegal Pistol in Karauli, Mobile Phones Seized

Karauli: In a continued drive against illegal arms, Kudgaon police in Rajasthan’s Karauli district arrested two young men and recovered a firearm from their possession.

The police team intercepted the suspects on the road leading to Paitoli after noticing suspicious movement. Upon searching them, officers found a .32 bore country-made pistol with one of the accused, identified as Deepak (22), a resident of Keshopura. The second accused, Shiv Singh (19), a resident of Maharajpura, was found carrying a magazine for the same weapon.

During the operation, police also seized two mobile phones from the accused. A case has been registered under the Arms Act, and both individuals are currently being questioned.

Officials stated that further investigation is underway to determine the origin of the weapon and whether it was intended for any criminal activity.
