IG Reviews Law and Order in Karauli, Directs Faster Disposal of Pending Cases

Karauli: During her two-day visit to Karauli district, IG Crime Parm Jyoti emphasized the need to strengthen crime control measures and speed up the disposal of pending cases.

Upon arrival, she visited the police lines where she was given a guard of honor by police personnel. She inspected the parade and also reviewed a demonstration of naka (checkpoint) operations. During an interaction session, police staff shared their concerns and issues.

Later, the IG held a review meeting at the SP office with senior officials, including the Superintendent of Police, Additional SP, Deputy SPs, and station in-charges. She assessed the current law and order situation and instructed officers to prioritize the quick resolution of pending cases.

Special attention was given to pending vehicle-related cases at Karauli Sadar police station, with clear directions to clear the backlog at the earliest. While appreciating the ongoing efforts of the police, she stressed the need for more effective implementation.

Detailed discussions were also held on older cases. The IG directed officers to ensure timely justice and relief for the public, highlighting the importance of proactive policing at all levels. She expressed confidence that policing standards in the district would continue to improve in the future.
