The lawyers’ protest under the banner of Bharatpur Bar Association entered its 23rd day on Thursday, with advocates continuing their demand for the transfer of certain judicial officers. As per the scheduled protest plan, lawyers staged a symbolic hunger strike at the protest site.

Senior advocates including Rupendra Singh, Bhupendra Singh Maderna, Harkesh Singh, Gandhidev, Ashok Sehna, Gyan Singh, and K.K. Dubey participated in the hunger strike. The courthouse echoed with chants of unity and resistance as lawyers showcased their collective strength.

Other advocates such as Shashi Bansal, Prabharani, Shweta Yadav, Hemraj Sharma, Kishan Singh, Uttam Pohiya, Bhupendra Singh Neerpal, Suresh Gupta, Rameshwar Sharma, Yaduveer Singh Dagur, and Baldev Jonwal also visited the protest site to express solidarity.

Protest Committee President Gandhidev alleged that District and Sessions Judge Keshav Kaushik, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Judge Seema Juneja, and Civil Judge Kamla Bayla have been threatening to issue unlawful orders in case files against lawyers. He warned that if this conduct doesn’t change, advocates will be forced to escalate their protest further.

Bar Association President Rupendra Singh informed that a meeting has been scheduled at 11 AM on Friday in the bar auditorium to decide the future course of action.
