In a dramatic operation, Jaipur Police thwarted a gang war and arrested six members of the Wasim Mota 777 gang who were planning to assassinate rival gangsters Mujammil and Manoj Goswami from the Akki Killer gang. The suspects were caught inside a Scorpio vehicle near Bhankrota while waiting for illegal weapons delivery.

🚓 Intelligence and Interception

Based on a tip-off to ASI Jugal Kishore, Bhankrota Police launched a search operation under SI Surendra Singh. The Scorpio was intercepted near Ramchandrapura on Ajmer Road. All six occupants were detained and questioned. They admitted they were plotting to shoot Mujammil and Manoj Goswami over past gang rivalries.

👤 Accused Identified as:

  1. Vishal Chaudhary (24), Janata Nagar, Sodala
  2. Sameer Udham (23), Rajiv Nagar, Hasanpura
  3. Sohail Khan (24), Bhojpura Colony, 22 Godam
  4. Ateeq Ahmed (23), Durga Vihar, Sadar
  5. Mohsin Qureshi (24), Panchvati Colony
  6. Aftab (21), Amritpuri, Ghat Gate

All six were charged under the Organized Crime Act.

🔫 Gunmen Arrested Separately

The suspects revealed they had arrived from Mumbai and sent an associate, Salman alias Kabootar, to collect weapons. Before the firearms reached them, the police managed to arrest the core group. Later, Shastri Nagar Police nabbed Salman with an illegal pistol, while Sodala Police arrested Sohail Qureshi with a desi katta and cartridges.

🔍 Background and Motive

The plan was revenge-driven. In 2021, members of Sameer’s group had allegedly killed the brother of Manoj Goswami in Bhankrota. After Manoj was released from jail, he too was preparing retaliation. Learning of this, Sameer and his gang decided to strike first.

The police have successfully diffused a potential gang war and are continuing further investigations into the two rival groups.
