
Jaipur: Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph honoured six police constables as “Constable of the Month” for their outstanding service in May 2025. Alongside, an e-rickshaw driver named Ajay was also felicitated for his honesty in returning a passenger’s lost mobile phone to the police station.
Awardees of ‘Constable of the Month’:
1. Mukesh (Jawahar Circle PS):
Helped trace and rescue a 3-year-old kidnapped girl using CCTV footage, and arrested the accused quickly.
2. Shravan Kumar (Sindhi Camp PS):
Solved a burglary case involving a domestic help, using technical surveillance, and recovered the stolen items.
3. Vinod Kumar (Galta Gate PS):
Arrested absconding accused in POCSO Act cases, ensuring justice.
4. Tinku Kumar (Jyoti Nagar PS):
Praised for efficiently managing official duties with dedication and diligence.
5. Dharmveer Singh (Traffic East):
Ensured smooth traffic flow at Apex Circle, working late hours with commitment.
6. Rajpal (ADCP Consultation & Help Centre):
Completed passport verification and character checks timely and efficiently.
Ajay – A Citizen’s Honesty Recognized
E-rickshaw driver Ajay returned a forgotten mobile phone left behind by a passenger to the nearest police station, showcasing remarkable civic integrity.
The commissioner emphasized that such honesty and dedication build a stronger bridge of trust between police and public.
