Jaipur: In a significant administrative development, the Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the inter-cadre transfer of IPS officer P.D. Nitya (Batch 2016) from the AGMUT cadre to the Rajasthan cadre. The decision was taken based on her marriage to IPS officer Pankaj Yadav (Batch 2022), who is serving in the Rajasthan cadre.

The transfer was approved after obtaining the consent of both the UT administration and the Rajasthan government.

Dr. Kiran Kang Sandhu Appointed SP in BPR&D

Dr. Kiran Kang Sandhu, a 2012 batch IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre, has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D). She is currently serving as Commandant of the 11th Battalion of RAC in New Delhi.

Additional Charges Given to Senior Bureaucrats

The Rajasthan government has assigned additional responsibilities to one IAS and two RAS officers:

• IAS officer Jogaram, currently serving as Cabinet Secretary, has been given additional charge of Resident Commissioner in New Delhi.
• RAS officer Deepali Bhagotia, Deputy Director in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Jaipur, has been given the additional charge of Director at the Swayamsiddha Centre of Excellence, Jamdoli.
• RAS officer Seema Sharma, Additional Director in the Women’s Empowerment Department, will now also serve as Registrar of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Jobner.
