Youth Critically Injured After Being Hit by Trailer on Behror Highway, Driver Absconding

Behror (Rajasthan), June 9, 2025
A tragic road accident occurred around 9:30 PM on Monday near the industrial area of Behror along the Jaipur-Delhi National Highway. A young man, while crossing the road, was struck by a high-speed trailer and sustained critical head injuries.

Locals immediately alerted the 108 emergency ambulance service and rushed the injured man to the Government District Hospital. Given the severity of his condition, he was later referred to a higher medical center.

Eyewitnesses reported that the collision was so intense that the man was thrown several feet and lost consciousness on the spot. No identification was found on him, making it difficult for the police to ascertain his identity.

According to police, the victim appears to be a laborer or company worker from another state. Investigations are underway, and CCTV footage from the area is being examined to identify both the victim and the absconding trailer driver.

A case has been registered against the unknown driver, and police efforts are ongoing to track him down.

The incident highlights the dangers posed by speeding vehicles on national highways, especially in industrial zones where pedestrian movement is frequent.
