The Samogar Bridge, located on the Bayana-Hindaun State Highway, is in a severely deteriorated condition. Steel rods are protruding from the joints, and deep potholes are scattered across the road surface. Thousands of vehicles cross the bridge daily, causing tremors that have led to several accidents.

Soil erosion beneath the bridge’s iron railings poses a major threat, especially during the rainy season, when there is a high risk of the railing collapsing. Many of the concrete mesh panels have also broken.

Local residents Surendra Singh Gurjar and Babulal have expressed concern over the bridge’s condition. Despite multiple complaints to authorities and elected representatives, no action has been taken so far.

Villagers have warned of protests if immediate repairs are not initiated. RSRDC Project Director R.K. Arora acknowledged reports of exposed reinforcement bars and assured that necessary repairs will be carried out soon.
