On Monday, under the Bande Ganga Water Conservation Public Campaign, a public awareness rally and cleanliness drive were organized in Lakhna village panchayat of Sanganer. The event started from the Bharat Nirman Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra, where villagers, officials, and local citizens participated enthusiastically.

The rally aimed to spread awareness about water conservation, plastic-free living, environmental protection, and the importance of cleanliness. Participants carried posters, banners, and placards with impactful messages encouraging the community to protect natural water resources and plant more trees.

After the rally, a voluntary labor (shramdaan) program was conducted at the local reservoir. Participants actively took part in cleaning the area around the water body to promote hygiene and community responsibility.

On this occasion, Village Development Officer Rajendra Chetival administered an oath to the participants, pledging their commitment to saving water. The event saw the participation of Junior Assistant Shilpa Jindal, LDC Assistant Dhanshyam Yadav, Sarpanch Manbhar Devi Bairwa, Dr. Chandraprakash Jain (Ayurveda Hospital Lakhna), ANM Sarita, Meenu Jarwal (CMHO Office), Anganwadi Workers – Pooja Prajapat, Anita Meena, Sita Sharma, and Sarpanch Representative Ramdayal Bairwa, among others.

The campaign’s core message was to ignite awareness across rural communities about water conservation and protect rivers like the Ganga through local collective efforts.
