There is turmoil in the whole world due to Iran war. There is turmoil in oil prices due to the war in the Middle East. Be it India-Pakistan or America… there is impact everywhere. Due to Iran war, oil prices have increased from Pakistan to America.
While the prices of LPG cylinders have increased in India, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased in Pakistan and America. While petrol is being sold above Rs 320 in Pakistan, there has been a huge increase in the price of LPG cylinder in India too. So let us know what is the current price of petrol and diesel in which country?
Actually, the Iran-Israel war is increasing tension in the Middle East. Its direct impact is on the prices of LPG, petrol and diesel. Global oil supply has been disrupted due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
The price of Brent crude has reached $84 per barrel. In this context, it is interesting to compare petrol prices in different countries. While prices are skyrocketing in Pakistan, they are relatively stable in India. However, the price of LPG cylinder has increased the problem. Let us see what is the situation in America, Israel and Iran.
The price of petrol in Pakistan has been increased by Rs 55 per liter to 321.17 Pakistani rupees per liter. This increase is linked to the increase in global crude oil prices due to the conflict in the Middle East. Pakistan is dependent on oil imports, and its economy is already struggling with inflation and foreign exchange crisis.
This increase is putting a heavy burden on the pockets of the common man, and the transport and agriculture sectors are being affected. If the conflict drags on, prices may go up further.
Despite the Iran war, the situation in India is slightly better. The price of petrol in India is only around Rs 100. The price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.77 per liter, while in Mumbai it has reached Rs 103.50. On an average, petrol in India ranges between Rs 95-105 per litre.
India also imports 90% of its oil, but prices are being kept under control through government subsidies and tax adjustments. However, the price of domestic LPG cylinder in India has increased by Rs 60 and that of commercial LPG by about Rs 115. All this is because of Iran war.
At the same time, the condition of America which is at war with Iran is not very good. There is an outcry in America. Due to the Iran war, oil prices have increased rapidly and the prices of petrol and diesel have also increased in America.
The price of one gallon petrol in America has increased to $3.32. This is about 11 percent more than a week ago. At the same time, the price of diesel has reached $4.33 per gallon, which is an increase of about 15 percent in a week.
What is the price of 1 liter petrol in America?
One gallon is approximately 3.78 litres. That means $3.32 per gallon of petrol means approximately $0.88 per liter. According to this mathematics, petrol in America is costing around Rs 81 per liter.
The price of petrol in Israel is 7.02 Israeli shekels per liter (about 1.95 US dollars). There was an increase of 0.14 shekels at the beginning of March, but due to the conflict there is a possibility of further increases. Israel is dependent on energy imports, and the war with Iran is affecting the supply chain. However, the country’s strong economy can bear it.
