In a move to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in Karauli, District Collector Akshay Godara conducted an inspection of the under-construction indoor unit at the Mother and Child Health (MCH) Hospital on Wednesday. During the visit, the Collector expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of the construction work and issued strict directives to the concerned agency to accelerate the project.
Focus on Quality and Timely Completion
District Collector Godara emphasized that the new indoor unit is vital for providing better healthcare services to the public. He directed the construction agency to ensure the work is completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high-quality standards. Furthermore, he instructed officials to make all necessary arrangements for the hospital’s shifting to the new facility as soon as the construction is completed.
Inspection of Medical College Hostel
In addition to the MCH Hospital inspection, the District Collector also visited the under-construction hostel at the Medical College. He identified deficiencies in the construction work and directed the relevant officials and the contractor to rectify these issues immediately to ensure the building is ready for handover.
