Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister, Premchand Bairwa, unveiled a statue of the architect of the Indian Constitution and Bharat Ratna, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, in Purohit Ka Bas, Sikar, on Sunday. During this grand event, the Deputy Chief Minister called upon the public to internalize the ideals of Baba Saheb and follow the fundamental principles of equality, liberty, fraternity, and justice.

‘Education is the Greatest Weapon for Change’

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa explained the importance of education to the youth. He stated, “The society that holds a book in its hands finds its chains cut automatically.” He emphasized that the statue of Baba Saheb is not merely a monument, but a continuous source of inspiration for future generations. Expressing his pride, he described the land of Sikar as the birthplace of heroes, martyrs, scientists, and industrialists.

Gift of a 100-Seat Library

With the aim of providing a better educational environment for the youth of the region, the groundbreaking ceremony (Bhumi Pujan) for a 100-seat modern library was performed during the event. This library will provide a dedicated space for local students to prepare for competitive examinations and pursue knowledge. A talent award ceremony was also held, where meritorious students were honored, and the philanthropists (Bhamashahs) of the region were recognized for their contributions.

Presence of Dignitaries

Several senior leaders and public representatives of the state participated in this dignified program. Notable attendees included Rajya Sabha MP Ghanshyam Tiwari, Sikar MLA Rajendra Pareek, Khajuwala MLA Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal, former MP Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati, former Sikar MLA Ratanlal Jaldhari, and Sangaliya Dhuni Peethadhishwar Omdas Maharaj, along with a large number of villagers.

Conclusion: This program, marked by the unveiling of the statue and the foundation stone laying of the library by Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, has brought a new wave of hope for the youth of Sikar.
