In Jaipur’s Muhana area, a 34-year-old man named Ravindra Upadhyay ended his life by shooting himself in the temple with an illegal pistol. He had been suffering from a serious illness for the past two years and was reportedly under mental stress.

The incident occurred around 3 PM on Monday, while his parents were sleeping in the hall. Hearing the gunshot, they woke up and found Ravindra lying in a pool of blood. The police were informed immediately and sent the body for postmortem.

No suicide note was found at the scene. The illegal pistol used in the act has been confiscated. Police are now investigating how he obtained the firearm.
