A doctor residing in Jaipur’s Karni Vihar area received a shocking extortion threat demanding ₹40 lakh. The threat was delivered in a letter, thrown over the main gate of his house inside an envelope during the night.

The doctor, who runs a private clinic in Chitrakoot, found the envelope Thursday morning while leaving to drop his daughter to school. Upon opening, he discovered a letter written in English that warned:

“Don’t act smart. Quietly pay ₹40 lakh. This is my first and last warning.”

Police registered an FIR at Karni Vihar police station. DCP (West) Hanuman Prasad Meena said CCTV footage is being analyzed and efforts are on to trace the suspect.
