Sapotra ( Karauli ) -Sapotra police has arrested five accused in a major action against online fraud. These accused were cheating people in the name of fake sex service and online business through WhatsApp and Telegram. Police have also seized a car, six mobile phones and other fraud related equipment from the possession of the accused.
The arrested accused include Monu Meena (Pilodapura), Dilkhush Meena (Khanpur), Vishnu Bairwa (Chaudkya), Ashish Meena and Suraj Dhobi (Chaudagaon). These accused cheated people by luring girls. They used to contact people by creating fake profiles through WhatsApp and Telegram and then cheat them of money.
The police paraded the accused on foot in the town and presented them in the court. This action was led by police station in-charge Dhara Singh.
