Massive Fire Breaks Out in Mustard Fodder Heap in Masalpur, Beedi Spark Suspected

Karauli: A major fire erupted in a large heap of dry mustard fodder in the Masalpur area of Karauli district, causing panic among locals. The incident took place on Bhojpur Road, where the fire quickly spread due to the highly flammable dry material.

Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade team rushed to the spot and began efforts to control the blaze. According to local residents and eyewitnesses, children grazing goats nearby may have accidentally caused the fire after a beedi spark fell onto the dry fodder.

The fodder is reported to belong to Vijay Singh, a resident of Masalpur, who suffered losses worth several lakhs due to the incident.

Firefighters worked continuously for nearly three hours to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading further. Efforts to fully extinguish the flames were ongoing at the time of the report.

The incident highlights the risks associated with dry fodder and the importance of fire safety precautions in such areas.
