Dholpur: Superintendent of Police (SP) Sumit Meharda convened a crime review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to evaluate the law and order situation in the district. The SP sought updates from subdivision officers and police station in-charges on grievance redressal and gave important instructions.
He ordered strict action against attacks on government employees and prioritized the quick arrest of the top 10 criminals at police station levels. Effective measures were emphasized to curb illegal mining and banned Chambal gravel transportation. Directions were issued for strict enforcement of traffic rules, prevention of drug trafficking, and timely entry of road accidents into the IRAD system.
The meeting also reviewed POCSO and crimes against women. SP stressed prompt arrests of wanted accused involved in attempted murders and firing cases. He encouraged community policing and special focus on capturing reward-listed criminals.
Additional SP Hawa Singh, Kamal Kumar Jangid, subdivision officers Munesh Meena, Anoop Singh, Mahendra Singh, Narendra Meena, and all police station in-charges attended the meeting.
