Census 2027: Karauli Collector Urges Citizens to Join Self-Enumeration Drive from May 1

Karauli: Preparations for Census 2027 have begun in Karauli district, with the administration urging citizens to actively participate in the self-enumeration process. District Collector and Principal Census Officer Akshay Godara has appealed to all residents to take part in this important national exercise.

He informed that the first phase of the census will begin with house listing and housing census. As part of this, a self-enumeration drive will be conducted from May 1 to May 15, 2026. During this period, citizens can fill in their details online through the official census portal.

After completing the online submission, individuals will receive a Self Enumeration (SE) ID. This ID must be shown to enumerators during field visits scheduled between May 16 and June 14, ensuring proper verification of the submitted data.

The Collector emphasized that accurate and complete information is essential for ensuring that government schemes reach the rightful beneficiaries. He added that the data collected will also contribute significantly to achieving the vision of a developed Rajasthan by 2047.

Assuring data privacy, he stated that all information provided during the census will remain completely confidential and secure. With the message “Our Census, Our Development,” citizens have been encouraged to participate wholeheartedly and complete their registration on time.
