A young woman who went missing from Garhi Achelal village in Dholpur’s Rajakhera region on May 21 has been safely recovered by police. The woman had accompanied her grandmother to a Bhagwat Katha (religious gathering) but did not return home, leading to significant concern among her family.

Complaint Filed Days Later

Her family members waited for several days hoping she would return, but when no contact was made, they filed a missing person report at Rajakhera Police Station on May 27. Police launched an investigation with assistance from the Cyber Cell, which provided crucial leads.

Accused Identified Through Cyber Surveillance

The investigation led to the identification of Sunny (22), a resident of Kathwadi village in the Achnera police station area of Agra district. According to police, Sunny had lured the young woman away and was involved in her abduction.

Arrest and Recovery

Under the leadership of Station House Officer Ramkishan Yadav, a team comprising Kallu Singh, Gajendra Singh, and Ghanshyam successfully traced and arrested the accused. The motorcycle used in the abduction was also seized as evidence. The young woman was found safe and has been returned to her family.

Ongoing Investigation

The case remains under investigation to determine the full circumstances of the abduction and whether any other individuals were involved.
