Yogini Ekadashi in 2025 falls on Saturday, June 21. It is observed on the 11th day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Ashadha as per the Hindu calendar. Devotees observe fast and worship Lord Vishnu on this sacred day.
- Ekadashi Begins: June 21, 2025 at 7:18 AM
- Ekadashi Ends: June 22, 2025 at 4:27 AM
- Puja Muhurat (Auspicious Time): June 21, 4:04 AM to 4:44 AM
- Parana (Breaking Fast): June 22, 1:47 PM to 4:35 PM
Puja Vidhi (Worship Procedure)
- Wake up early, take a holy bath, and wear clean clothes.
- Set up an idol or picture of Lord Vishnu in your puja space.
- Offer tulsi leaves, sandalwood paste, flowers, fruits, and incense.
- Chant “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” 108 times.
- Recite Vishnu Sahasranama or Vishnu Chalisa.
- Offer prayers and perform aarti.
- On the next day, break the fast (parana) at the prescribed time.
Spiritual Importance
- Observing Yogini Ekadashi helps in washing away sins and brings peace and prosperity.
- It is believed that this fast gives the same merit as feeding 88,000 Brahmins.
- Those suffering from stress, chronic illness, or mental obstacles are spiritually benefited from this vrat.
Do’s and Don’ts
- Avoid rice, onion, garlic, meat, and alcohol.
- Consume only fruits, milk, and vrat-friendly food.
- Follow parana timing strictly for full spiritual merit.
