The 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is expected to be credited to farmers’ bank accounts by the end of June 2025. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments. This time, the government has made e-KYC mandatory to receive the next payment.

Thousands of farmers across various states have not yet completed their e-KYC, which may lead to them missing the ₹2,000 payment. In some cases, where previous installments were held back, farmers could lose up to ₹4,000 in total benefits.

To complete the process, farmers can visit the official pmkisan.gov.in portal or mobile app to verify using Aadhaar OTP. Those without mobile OTP access can visit nearby CSCs (Common Service Centres) or local service providers for face authentication.

Additionally, farmers must ensure that their Aadhaar is linked to their active bank account, and that their details in the beneficiary list are accurate. Missing or incorrect data may result in payment failure.

Failure to complete these steps on time can disqualify farmers from receiving the 20th installment.
