Bharatpur: With the monsoon approaching, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has completed its preparations to tackle any emergency situation in the Bharatpur division. SDRF Commander Narpat Singh informed that 10 rescue teams have been formed, each comprising 10 well-trained personnel.

These teams have undergone specialized training at a dedicated camp in Bandh Baretha, where they learned rescue techniques for floods, building collapses, and waterborne rescues.

Each team is equipped with modern equipment such as inflatable boats, scuba sets, and life-saving kits to ensure effective rescue operations. According to the plan, all teams will be deployed at district headquarters across the division before June 25.

This proactive step by SDRF aims to enhance public safety and strengthen the disaster management mechanism during the monsoon season.
