RIDCO Land Policy

Jaipur: In a major move to accelerate industrial growth, the Rajasthan government has officially approved the new Land Allotment and Pricing Policy of the Rajasthan Industrial Corridors Development Corporation Limited (RIDCO). This highly anticipated decision clears the path for allotting industrial township plots within the Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA).

The policy is strategically designed to attract massive global investments and generate large-scale local employment opportunities across the region.

Key Features of the New Allotment Policy

The framework is aligned with the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) model, customized to suit the specific economic landscape of Rajasthan:

  • Transparent Digital Processing: Plot allocation will be managed entirely online through direct allotment, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects, and competitive e-auctions.
  • Long-Term Lease Duration: Standard industrial plots will be allocated on a long-term 99-year lease.
  • Sector-Specific Flexibility: Specialized facilities like warehousing, logistics, plug-and-play zones, and flatted factories can access flexible leases ranging from 33 to 66 years, with renewal options.
  • Financial Incentives: Early-bird investors who choose to make a one-time upfront payment will receive special discounts. Alternatively, a flexible option of 11 interest-bearing quarterly installments is available.
  • Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model: The development of residential zones, social infrastructure, and Global Capability Centers (GCCs) will be actively driven via PPP models.

World-Class Infrastructure at Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA)

Developed as one of the five primary nodes under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), JPMIA is located in the Rohat tehsil—strategically situated 22 km from Jodhpur and 40 km from Pali. Rapid basic infrastructure construction is currently underway:
