Realme 16 5G –Realme is all set to introduce its upcoming smartphone, the Realme 16 5G, in India on April 2. The company has officially teased the device on its website, revealing key highlights related to design, camera, battery, and software support.

A New Take on Selfies: ‘Selfie Mirror’ Innovation

One of the standout features of the Realme 16 5G is its “selfie mirror” concept. The device comes with a reflective circular surface placed next to the rear camera module. This allows users to frame selfies using the back camera, enabling higher-quality shots compared to traditional front cameras.

Display and Design Details

The Realme 16 5G sports a 6.57-inch display, offering a sleek and lightweight design. The phone weighs around 183 grams and has a slim profile with a thickness of 8.1mm. It will be available in two color options — Air White and Air Black.

Massive Battery with Fast Charging

The smartphone is backed by a powerful 7000mAh battery, making it suitable for long usage without frequent charging. It also supports 60W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups. Realme has promised 3 years of Android OS updates along with 4 years of security updates for the device.

Camera Setup and Performance

In terms of optics, the Realme 16 5G features a horizontally aligned camera module, somewhat similar in style to the Google Pixel 10 series. The device includes a 50MP primary rear camera along with a circular LED flash. While details about additional sensors are yet to be revealed, the front camera is also expected to feature a 50MP sensor for high-resolution selfies.
