Rajasthan: Shocking Molestation Case in Churu Government School, Teacher Booked Under POCSO Act

In a disturbing incident from a government school in the rural area of Churu district, Rajasthan, a contractual teacher has been accused of molesting a minor student. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act following a complaint by the victim’s mother.

According to the complaint, the 13-year-old girl, a Class 4 student, was allegedly molested by the accused teacher. The mother stated that another teacher from the school informed her via phone about some funds related to her daughter and asked her to visit the school to sign documents. When the girl’s father reached the school, he was informed by another teacher that the accused had locked his daughter in a room.

Upon returning home, the parents questioned their daughter, who revealed that the teacher had asked her to fetch a broom. While she was sweeping, the accused allegedly molested her. The girl’s cries alerted other students, prompting the teacher to unlock the room. Following the complaint, the police have initiated an investigation under the POCSO Act.
