Karauli: High speed Swift Dzire crushes school child in Sapotra, dies on the spot

Karauli, Rajasthan: A schoolboy died in a tragic road accident on the Naroli-Dag road in Sapotra police station area of Karauli district. A speeding Swift Dzire car hit 12-year-old Abhishek Meena, resulting in his death on the spot. The incident sparked outrage among the local villagers, who blocked the road and expressed their displeasure against the police administration.

The incident took place on the Naroli-Dag road on Monday, July 28, 2025 at noon time. The deceased Abhishek, a resident of Bilwad hut and son of Rinku Meena, had returned from school and was crossing the road. Meanwhile, a speeding Swift Dzire car hit him hard. The collision was so severe that Abhishek died on the spot.

After the incident, the villagers immediately chased the car and stopped the vehicle near Chauragaon, but the car driver fled from the spot. The police have registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
