To reduce long waiting lines in hospitals, the Rajasthan government is implementing a Queue Management System (QMS). This initiative aims to streamline patient registration and improve hospital efficiency.

Currently launched as a pilot project at Jaipuria and Kanwatia Hospitals in Jaipur, the QMS is already showing positive results. Patients no longer need to wait in long lines for registration. Instead, they can relax in a waiting area while monitoring token numbers on LED displays before consulting doctors.

On Saturday, Medical Education Secretary Ambrish Kumari visited both hospitals to review the new system and other health facilities. She observed the OPD registration process and took feedback from patients and doctors.

She announced that the QMS will soon be implemented at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital, with preparations already underway. Eventually, all hospitals affiliated with medical colleges across Rajasthan will adopt the system.

This innovation is expected to bring transparency, reduce patient fatigue, and enhance the overall healthcare experience.
