Jaipur: The Gurjar reservation agitation in Rajasthan has once again taken a political turn. BJP State President Madan Rathore has stirred controversy by labeling the movement as “sponsored” and accusing the Congress of being behind it.
Speaking to the media, Rathore claimed, “Every time the BJP comes to power, this movement turns aggressive. During the Congress regime, everything remained calm. This pattern clearly points to a politically motivated strategy.”
Rathore also questioned the recent meeting between former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot. “Just three days ago, they met. And now the agitation is flaring up again. If this is a result of that meeting, it is deeply concerning,” he remarked.
He further alleged that Congress is trying to destabilize the state by fueling such protests and urged citizens to maintain peace while assuring that the government is addressing the matter seriously.
Conclusion:
The BJP’s strong allegations have ignited a fresh political debate in Rajasthan. All eyes are now on the Congress’s response and the next developments in the ongoing Gurjar agitation.
