In a significant breakthrough, Karauli’s Masalpur Police have arrested Radheshyam (33), a murder accused carrying a reward of ₹10,000, from Soronji Ganga Ghat in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident dates back to December 14, 2024, when an old rivalry in Barwana village escalated into a violent attack. Radheshyam and his associates assaulted an elderly man named Ratiram with sticks and stones. Ratiram, who was critically injured, was referred to Jaipur from Hindaun and later died during treatment on December 27.

According to the victim’s son, Janak Singh, the accused — including Santoki, Ramveer, Radheshyam, and others — had attacked his brother Harman. Ratiram was injured while trying to intervene. Three accused had already been arrested in the case, but Radheshyam had been absconding.

The arrest was made under the leadership of SHO Neeraj Kumar Sharma. The team included Head Constable Paramjeet Singh, and Constables Rajesh Kumar, Ravindra, Pintu, and Brijesh, who played a crucial role in tracking and apprehending the accused.
