Five Accused Arrested in Attempted Murder Case by Karauli Police

Karauli Kotwali Police have successfully arrested five absconding individuals involved in a brutal assault case, following a tip-off from an informant. The arrest operation was led by SHO Adhyatma Gautam.

The accused — Main Khan alias Mainuddin alias Lala (55), Rafiq Khan alias Bhura (45), Subhan (23), Shaukeen (25), and Zeeshan (23) — are all residents of Pathan Khidkiyan locality in Karauli.

The incident took place on April 21 when a man named Yusuf was cleaning outside his shop with his family. Suddenly, the accused attacked them using deadly weapons including sickles, iron rods, and axes. Yusuf’s father, Shahzad, sustained serious head injuries, while his uncle Mohsin was also hurt.

Since the attack, the accused had been on the run. After a focused manhunt, police apprehended all five, who will now be presented in court for further legal proceedings.
