A shocking suicide case has emerged from Jaipur, where a 28-year-old man ended his life after allegedly falling in love with a distant relative he referred to as “uncle”. The victim, Chhagan Singh from Mahuwa (Dausa), had been living in Jaipur for a year in search of a job.
On May 15, Chhagan consumed poison in his rented room. He stayed with two roommates — Samay Singh and Balram. Samay, who was a distant relative, became the focus of investigation when a 23-page suicide note was recovered from Chhagan’s cupboard.
The note revealed deep emotional attachment and stated that the victim hoped to unite with Samay in the next life. The family has alleged that Samay mentally and physically harassed Chhagan, even blackmailing him with obscene photos and videos.
Following these revelations, Jaipur police registered a case against Samay Singh for abetment of suicide and unnatural acts. Investigations are ongoing.
