Major Crackdown on Illegal Mining in Dholpur: 5 Arrested, 11 Vehicles Seized by DST and Sarmathura Police

Dholpur: Under the leadership of DST team in-charge Prem Singh, two separate police teams from Sarmathura police station conducted raids at two locations targeting illegal mining activities. The police seized 11 vehicles involved in illegal mining and arrested five accused, causing panic among mining mafias.

The raids took place near Raseed ka Mala and Asaram Bapu Ashram, where the police caught the accused red-handed. The seized equipment included two hydra machines, five tractors with compressors, three trucks loaded with stone blocks, and one tractor-trailer. The arrested accused are Hukum (30), Deepak (20), Gopal (55), Manoj (40), and Sonu (28), against whom cases have been registered under illegal mining laws.

The police are still searching for other absconding accused. The crackdown has instilled fear among illegal mining operators.
