Mathura, Uttar Pradesh – A major accident occurred on Sunday during excavation in a village in Mathura district. Around half a dozen houses built on a mound collapsed, trapping 12 people under the debris. Three people have died in the incident, while the condition of others is reported to be critical.

Three Dead After Being Trapped in Debris

When the administration began clearing the debris with the help of a JCB machine, three bodies were recovered. Among them were a young girl, a teenage girl, and a man. All three were rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The deceased have been identified as Tularam (35), a resident of Shahganj Darwaza, Kachchi Road; Kajal (4), a resident of Gautam Pada, Vrindavan; and Yashoda (14), also from Gautam Pada, Vrindavan.

The incident took place on Sunday morning, during ongoing excavation work. Suddenly, the houses built on the mound began to collapse, causing panic among local residents, who started running in all directions. Local people and administrative officials reached the spot and launched a rescue operation to retrieve those trapped under the rubble.
