Late Wednesday night, unidentified anti-social elements attempted to vandalize a statue of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar located near the Panchayat Bhavan in the Azamnagar block. According to local reports, the statue was recently inaugurated on April 14 to mark Ambedkar Jayanti.
