Karauli: ‘Gram Rath’ Reaches Remote Panchayats; Promoting Welfare Schemes and ‘GRAM-2026’

KARAULI (RAJASTHAN): To ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes and the information regarding the upcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet-2026 (GRAM-2026) reach the grassroots level, the ‘Gram Rath’ Campaign is operating at full scale across the Karauli district. Under the direction of Lakhan Singh, CEO of the Zila Parishad, these mobile awareness units are visiting various Gram Panchayats to bridge the information gap between the government and the rural populace.
Strengthening Public Trust through Awareness
The primary objective of this campaign is to take the state government’s achievements, development works, and public welfare schemes directly to the people. By utilizing these specialized chariots (Raths), the administration aims to increase public awareness, build trust in governance, and ensure that every eligible person can access the benefits they are entitled to.
CEO Lakhan Singh stated:
“The Gram Rath Campaign is more than just a promotional activity; it is a bridge of trust. Our goal is to ensure that no deserving citizen remains deprived of government benefits due to a lack of information.”
Wednesdayโs Journey: Constituency-Wise Coverage
On Wednesday, the Gram Raths conducted intensive tours across four assembly constituencies in the district:
- Sapotra Constituency: Awareness activities were held in the Panchayats of Kachhipura, Rajaur, Atewa, Khohari, Kailadevi, Narauli, and Lauharra.
