A shocking incident took place in the village of Keshpura, located in the Masalpur tehsil of Karauli district, on Monday morning. Around 8:30 AM, an explosive-like object fell from the sky, detonating about 5 to 7 feet above the ground. The explosion was quite loud, but fortunately, no one was injured, and there was no damage to property.

The blast was so loud that a cloud of smoke was visible in the village for a while. Villagers Updesh Singh, Upendra Singh, Neeraj, and Madan Mohan mentioned that they rushed out of their homes after hearing the loud sound. The children were scared and ran inside to hide. A white smoke cloud was observed in the sky, and burnt plastic pieces were found on the ground near the blast site.

As soon as the incident was reported, the local administration swung into action. BDO Mohanlal Sharma, Station In-charge Neeraj Kumar Sharma, NITI Aayog block fellow Vikram Singh, and Intelligence officer Devkinandan Sharma immediately reached the spot. They gathered information from the villagers and inspected the site of the explosion.

Tehsildar Kaushal Garg, who also visited the site, stated that a thorough investigation would be conducted to determine how and why the explosive material fell from the sky. They are also looking into whether it was related to a military exercise or some other reason. While there is peace in the village now, the people are still frightened. The administration has assured the villagers that a proper investigation will be carried out and appropriate action will be taken.
