Acting on the firm directives of Jaipur Development Commissioner (JDC) Shri Siddharth Mahajan, the enforcement squads successfully reclaimed approximately 70 bighas of prime government pasture land valued at a staggering ā¹140 crore. JDA’s Yellow Claw Reclaims Prime Government Pasture Land
Detailing the operation, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) and Chief Enforcement Officer Shri Anand Sharma stated that the most significant action took place under Zone-10, encompassing the villages of Govindpura (Ropada), Sumel, and Bagrana. Here, land mafias had aggressively fenced off precious government pasture land, attempting to carve out illegal residential and commercial plots.
Supported by a heavy police presence, the JDA enforcement squad utilized JCBs and Poclain excavators to tear down illegal boundary walls, tin sheds, and under-construction structures. The total estimated market value of this reclaimed 70-bigha prime land stands at approximately ā¹140 crore.
Illegal Colonies on 42 Bighas of Private Agricultural Land Razed
The JDA also dealt a severe blow to illegal colonizers who were blindly plotting residential schemes on agricultural lands adjacent to urban borders without any statutory approvals. A total of 42 bighas of private agricultural land across three different zones saw immediate demolition of illegal roads and plot boundaries:
- Zone-12 (Sarna Dungar): Preparations for illegal plotting on 10 bighas of agricultural land without land-use conversion were completely foiled.
- Zone-17 (Khora Bisal): Structures and boundary markers of a colony being carved out on 4 bighas of private landāwithout a JDA-approved layout planāwere cleared.
- Zone-19 (Boraj, Jobner Road): In the largest of the agricultural interventions, illegally laid mud and gravel roads spread across 28 bighas were entirely uprooted.
Demolition Costs to be Recovered from Culprits
Following these extensive drives, supervised by Chief Controller of Enforcement Smt. Shilpa Choudhary, the JDA administration has adopted an unforgiving stance. According to official statements, every single penny of the heavy administrative and machinery expenses (Demolition Cost) incurred during this drive will be legally recovered directly from the respective land mafias and illegal colonizers.
JDAās Public Appeal: Do Not Fall for Traps, Report Directly
To safeguard the hard-earned money of the common public, the Jaipur Development Authority has issued an advisory. The JDA strongly urges citizens to thoroughly verify if a housing scheme is strictly JDA-approved and RERA-registered before making any financial investments.
Additionally, the administration appeals to residents to immediately report any illegal construction or encroachment on government land via the following official channels:
- JDA Control Room Helpline Numbers: 0141-2565800, 0141-2575252, 0141-2575151
- State Government Integrated Portal: Rajasthan Sampark Portal (Toll-Free Number 181)
This successful mega-drive was executed through the joint efforts of the Deputy Controllers of Enforcement (I, II, and IV), respective zonal enforcement officers, revenue officials, and technical staff.
