A disturbing case of sexual assault has emerged from Bajaj Nagar, Jaipur, where a 23-year-old woman from Phulera has accused her friend of raping her in a guest house and exploiting her for a year under the false promise of marriage.
According to the FIR filed at Bajaj Nagar Police Station, the woman met the accused through regular conversations and they gradually became friends. In July 2024, he pressured her to come to Jaipur and took her to a guest house, where he allegedly raped her.
When she resisted, he assured her they would get married. Over the next year, he repeatedly exploited her sexually. But when she eventually asked him to marry her, he refused. Realizing she had been deceived, the woman lodged a complaint.
The case is currently under investigation by SHO Surendra Kumar.
