A disturbing case has emerged from Jaipur where a 20-year-old woman has accused her religious uncle of raping her under the influence of intoxicants. According to the FIR filed at Jalupura Police Station, the accused lured her to a hotel in March 2025 by claiming that her mother had sent some belongings for her.
Once she arrived at the hotel, the accused allegedly made her consume a spiked drink. Taking advantage of her unconscious state, he raped her. When she tried to resist after regaining consciousness, he threatened and blackmailed her into silence. The victim also claimed that he called her back to the hotel two or three more times and sexually exploited her again.
The case is being investigated by SHO Hawa Singh of Jalupura Police Station. Police confirmed that the accused used to visit her house often as he was considered a religious brother of the girl’s mother. The young woman is currently studying in Jaipur.
