Aashna Chaudhary was raised in an educated family. Her father, Dr. Ajit Chaudhary, is a professor at a government university, while her mother, Indu Singh, is a homemaker. Interested in education since childhood, Aashna received her early education from St. Xavier’s School, Pilkhuwa, St. Mary’s School, Udaipur, and Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad.
She scored 96.5 percent in her 12th grade, a testament to her hard work. Subsequently, she earned an honors degree in English literature from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and a master’s degree in international relations from South Asian University, New Delhi.

First Steps to UPSC
Aashna Chaudhary’s journey begins with her passion and dedication towards the UPSC exam. After completing her post-graduation, Aashna decided to prepare for the UPSC. She failed her first attempt, but instead of giving up, she worked on her shortcomings and succeeded in her third attempt in 2022.

Success Without Coaching:
Aashna passed the UPSC exam without any coaching and secured the 116th rank. She scored 992 out of 2025 marks, a result of her hard work and dedication. For her, this success wasn’t just a sign of passing an exam, but a triumph of her struggle and self-confidence.
Journey to Becoming an IPS
Aashna Chaudhary chose the Indian Police Service (IPS) as her first choice. Her hard work and determination led her to this position. After becoming an IPS officer, Aashna aims to control crime, maintain law and order, and protect women’s rights in society.

Personal Life
Aashna Chaudhary’s personal life is also inspiring. She is married to Abhinav Siwach, a 2023 batch IAS officer serving in the Delhi cadre. The two met at the IAS Training Center. Abhinav Siwach also succeeded in the UPSC exam in his second attempt. Their photos often go viral on social media, and people praise their pairing.

Social Service

Apart from her studies and career, Aashna Chaudhary is also active in social service. During her post-graduation, she worked with an NGO for underprivileged children, which reflects her sensitivity to human rights and society.
