Mathura: An honest act by an auto driver at Mathura Railway Junction has set an inspiring example of integrity. A passenger dropped his bag containing ₹50,000 in the circulating area, which was later returned to the GRP police by the auto driver.

Madan Mohan, a resident of Braj Nagar, Kothi Shiv Mandir, Bharatpur, had arrived at Mathura Junction to travel to Delhi for purchasing electrical items. In the station’s circulating area, he accidentally lost his bag. Despite efforts, he couldn’t find it and reported the matter to the GRP Police Station.

Shamruddin, an auto driver from Sukhdev Nagar, Sonkh Road, found the bag near the tempo stand. Demonstrating honesty, he handed over the bag to Inspector Yad Ram, in charge of the GRP station.

After verifying the identity and belongings, the police returned the bag to Madan Mohan. Relieved, he expressed gratitude and stated, “This proves honesty still exists in today’s world.”
