Gold Hits All-Time High at βΉ99,170; Silver Also Surges
On June 13 (Friday), gold prices soared to a new record high. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold jumped by βΉ1,715 to βΉ99,170 per 10 grams, breaking its previous high of βΉ99,100 on April 21.
Silver also saw a sharp rise of βΉ742, reaching βΉ1,06,240 per kg, close to its all-time high of βΉ1,07,000 on June 10.

Since January 1, 2025, gold has risen from βΉ76,162 to βΉ99,170 per 10 grams, a surge of βΉ23,008. Silver also jumped from βΉ86,017 to βΉ1,06,240 per kg.

According to Ajay Kedia, Director of Kedia Advisory, geopolitical tensions are supporting gold demand. Gold could touch βΉ1,03,000 per 10 grams, and silver may go as high as βΉ1,30,000 per kg this year.
