A gas cylinder explosion late Monday night created panic in Jaipur’s Karni Vihar area. The incident occurred in Dhawas, where a tea stall caught fire, and the cylinder kept inside was engulfed in flames, leading to a sudden and powerful blast. Shattered pieces of the cylinder were thrown far away due to the explosion.

According to SHO Hawa Singh, a temporary tea stall is set up on an open ground in Dhawas. On Monday night, the stall owner locked the shop and went home. Around 2 AM, flames erupted inside the closed stall. Noticing the fire, local residents immediately informed the police and fire brigade.

A fire tender and police team rushed to the spot and began firefighting operations. During the process, the gas cylinder inside the stall exploded unexpectedly. The loud blast forced police personnel, firefighters, and nearby people to quickly move away to safety.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Police stated that the reason behind the ignition is being investigated. Most items inside the tea stall were gutted in the fire.
