Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren passes away, three days of state mourning declared in the state

Shibu Soren Death: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren died on Monday morning at Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi after a prolonged illness. The news of his death has sent a wave of mourning across the state.

The Jharkhand government has announced a three-day state mourning from August 4 to 6 in honor of the late leader. During this period, the national flag will fly half-mast on all government buildings and no government function will be organized.

As soon as the news of Shibu Soren’s death was received, leaders have started coming and going to the hospital in Delhi. Many veteran politicians of the Center and the state are reaching to pay tribute to him.Shibu Soren has been the prominent face of the Jharkhand movement and was one of the founding leaders of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). He played an important role in the politics of the state and the country.
